In 1999, CATSA acknowledged the significant contribution made by Prof Jan du Plessis in promoting homogeneous catalysis in South Africa. And in 2002, Prof Ray Everson was presented with a lifetime achievement award for many years of service to the local catalysis community. In 2005, Prof Cyril O'Connor was honoured for his contribution to catalysis in South Africa on many fronts. And in 2007, Prof Neil Coville received this award.
